Sweet Brown, famous for her auto-tune sensation "Ain't Nobody Got Time For That," is suing iTunes for releasing a track called "I Got Bronchitis," which allegedly sampled Brown without permission. She is also suing a radio program called The Bob Rivers Show, and a handful of other parties for unauthorized use of her likeness.

"The Bob Rivers Show" allegedly produced a song called "I Got Bronchitis," which sampled Brown's interview with a local news station, where she uttered well known phrases like "Ain't nobody got time for that," "Ran for my life," and "Oh, Lord Jesus it's a fire."

In April 2012 the show started selling the song on iTunes for a profit, falsely claiming they had got Brown's permission to use her voice and likeness for the track, according to her lawsuit.

Brown is seeking a $15 million settlement for the case, but may have a hard time recouping the amount after Apple removed the song, thanks to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. The act protects companies in similar situations, as long as the material in question is taken down quickly.
