After years of acting, many people have probably forgotten how Mark Wahlberg came to fame. The Boston native became famous after his 1991 debut album with Marky Mark And The Funky Bunch, of which he was the rapping frontman.

After a very successful acting career, the rest of the Funky Bunch were discouraged about their chances of a reunion, but Mark recently gave them hope in an interview with UK Magazine.

Wahlberg told the mag he "might" get the bunch back together, but he has to "find the right time."

Two of the former members, DJ T and The Booty Inspector, told TMZ that "it would be amazing if [Mark] were to want to reunite with the group."

The Funky Bunch tried to plan a reunion back in 2008, but Mark respectfully declined the offer.
