Gucci Mane Changes Name, Fans Convince Him To Change It Back

In a bizarre move, Gucci Mane took to Twitter early this morning to announce that he's officially changing his name to Guwop come July 2nd. However, due to fan responses, the ATL rapper decided maybe the name change wasn't such a good idea.
"July 2nd I'm officially changing my rap name to Guwop and retiring the great GucciMane Thanks Fans, for 8 years as Gucci now it's Wop turn," he wrote.
Shortly after, Gucci tweeted that he had second thoughts about the change.
"I am officially NOT changing my name to Guwop it will officially stay Gucci Mane due to my Fans' response.."
Gucci recently dropped two new mixtapes -- "Trap God 2" and "Free Bricks 2" with Young Scooter.

Even Jay-z said it "If I dumb down my lyrics, I go platinum" so somebody likes it and somebody is buying it. If this is want people want why not make tracts for the people. Now for the past 10 years its been the same down south 808 beats same pattern sounds the same songs first off, second the same thing in lyrics all sound the same lame and no content what you talking about in these songs money clothes and hoes? thats all? anything else going on in the world?
