The date on which Ja Rule will once again join the land of the free has been revealed.

Last week, the Queens spitter was transferred from prison in Central New York after having served most of a 2-year sentence for gun possession. Ja then went straight to federal prison on tax evasion charges.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons reports that he has since been moved to Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center, the facility where inmates awaiting court dates or with short terms left on their sentences are housed.

Ja will be released on July 28.
