Diddy has put his name on yet another beverage sure to be the next big thing, and this time he's partnered with superstar actor Mark Wahlberg to launch AQUAhydrate, a performance water. The pair forged a deal with Southern California's fitness and wellness water brand, where they will oversee business strategies with CEOJohn Cochran, former CEO of Fiji Water.
The drink, which will be sold in Whole Foods, GNC, Safeway and Kroger, is unlike other sports drinks on the market, void of sugar and high calories.
Diddy spoke on the venture, saying "As a brand architect, I am incredibly passionate and equally committed to every aspect of the businesses that I get involved with. Partnering with AQUAhydrate and Mark is an incredible opportunity for me and I am looking forward to making history in the process. It's important for me to be part of something that drives me and is constantly pushing the boundaries, and that's what AQUAhydrate does. Together, we're going to take AQUAhydrate to the next level."
