Rapper, actress, and all around business mogel Queen Latifah has joined forces with Netflix to help distribute films produced by her production company, Flavor Unit Entertainment.
Latifah and business partner Compere Shakim have entered into an agreement with the world's leading internet subscription service which will give Netflix first rights when it comes to choosing which Flavor Unit films they wish to have available for streaming or rental.
"Shakim and I are thrilled to do business with Netflix. Netflix is such a strong brand and the perfect place to showcase our projects," said Latifah.
The deal takes effect this spring.
