Jermaine Dupri kicked off his highly anticipated So So Def 20th Anniversary party in Atlanta on Saturday night with a slew of A-listers including Jay-Z, Mariah Carey, Ludacris, Usher and more. Past and present artists from the label joined together at ATL's Fox Theatre for a night of memorable performances.
The night began with Kriss Kross getting the crowd on their feet for "Jump," followed by Xscape, Da Brat and Jagged Edge. Next, Lil Jon challenged J.D. to a DJ battle, where he then brought outBone Crusher, YoungBloodZ, J-Kwon, Lil Scrappy, Dem Franchize Boyz, Pastor Troy, and Bow Wow.
The night then transitioned into performances from Nelly, Monica, Usher and Ludacris, before Jay-Z made his big debut on stage to perform "Money Ain't a Thang," followed by "R.I.P.," "PSA," "Ni**as in Paris" and "Clique."
Mariah Carey wheeled out a cake at the end of the show to celebrate J.D.'s success in the business, which prompted the man himself to come onstage and address the crowd.
"I want to thank all of ya'll for coming out tonight. I swear to God, I love you ATL. I wouldn't [have taken] this show to no other motherfu**ing city but mine."
