Funk legend George Clinton has filed for divorce from his wife, Stephanie Lynn Clinton, after 22 years of marriage, according to TMZ.
According to the divorce papers filed in Florida court, the couple got married back in 1990 in Toledo, OH, but have "experienced long term separation" throughout the marriage and say "the marriage is irretrievably broken."
The docs also reveal that the couple have no children together, no shared property and no shared bank accounts.
