70s Producer Suing Cash Money Records Over Bow Wow Song

Robert Poindexter, who was a producer for the 70s group The Persuaders, is reportedly suing Cash Money Records over allegations that they used a Persuaders sample in Bow Wow's 2010 song "Still Ballin."
The song was "Love Gonna Pack Up (and Walk Out)," which reached the top of the charts in 1972. Poindexter claims he never gave permission for the use of the sample, and is seeking $600,000 in punitive damages.
Cash Money has not responded to questions about the suit.

When i used to be a fan of Bow i told him on twitter don't be using Legends Samples... He almost did one of Prince's songs too called Break it down for Greenlight 2... I kept telling this clown him along with the label going to get sued but did he listen NO.... smh...
