Eve chopped it up with Power 105.1 recently about her upcoming album Lip Lock, and what fans could expect from it. She admitted to having a fun party album with Missy Elliot and Lil Kim that fans will enjoy.
"I do have something special with us three—a fun, party record. I'ma keep it fun."
She also explained that parts of her album have a reggae vibe but that the album in its entirety is hip-hop at heart.
"It has a little reggae vibe in it, but it's definitely hip-hop. The drums are crazy. I have to make myself relevant to a new generation."

Eve. I will always have respect for you, and I think you are talented enough to actually make a big comeback, but as trifling as hip hop is nowadays, most fans are looking at you as a high prices nanny for a white man who has you taking care of his kids while he gets to fuck you.
