For those not worried about pesky things like heart disease and obesity, restaurant chain Jake's Wayback Burgers has just the thing to get your motor revving.
The 62-location burger chain, with restaurants mostly in the eastern U.S., just added a nine-patty burger to the menu.
Dubbed "The Triple Triplenine", this culinary monstrosity consists of the nine patties, American cheese (on each patty, of course), lettuce, and tomato and goes for $12.99.
Houston's KHOU reports that "the burger has 5100 calories and 117 grams of saturated fat, which is close to six buckets of KFC fried chicken." Says an anchor on the segment, "You'll get a heart attack just looking at that thing." It's also equivalent to eating five Pizza Hut "Meat Lovers" pizzas.
The burger originally started out as an eating challenge at the restaurant, but after a one-month trial it was made a permanent addition to the menu.
The question is, how does one even bite into this thing?
