Why stay in a regular hotel with an overly chlorinated indoor pool and mediocre breakfast bar when you can have a once in a lifetime experience at the Icehotel in Sweden. The hotel is constructed of snow and ice each year, and is the largest of its kind in the world.

Everything inside is made of ice, including the bed, bar, fixtures, and decor, which look like a mystic work of art laid out around you. Inside, there's also an ice chapel for couples who are seeking that unique wedding experience.

Guests are encouraged to pack several pairs of thermals since they'll be sleeping on ice mattresses adorned with reindeer skins. Most people usually sleep one night on the ice carved beds followed by a night on a traditional mattress nearby.
