CBS Rumored To Use Fake Applause For Chris Brown At Grammys

It hasn't been confirmed by CBS, nor have they made any comment on the topic just yet, but rumors have been spreading that CBS used a pre-recorded fake applause for Chris Brown at the Grammy Awards. According to AllHipHop.com, the auditorium remained silent when Chris' name was announced as one of the nominees for Best Urban Contemporary Album.
Chris remained in his seat when Frank Ocean won and made his way to the stage while the rest of the audience rose to their feet and gave him a very energetic round of applause. Chris and Frank got into a physical altercation last month over a parking space at a music studio in West Hollywood, so it was obvious that Chris was not happy that Frank won the award over him.
Hopefully CBS will provide a statement in the near future to clarify if fake applause was used for Brown or not.
