Over the years many pro athletes have risen to incredibly high levels of fame, but suddenly fallen off due to one reason or another. The transition going from "fan-favorite" to "most-hated" must be a tough one to deal with. Some, like Lebron James, have embraced the "villian" role and become even better athletes because of it. Others, like Tiger Woods, have struggled to regain their past star presence both in the sport they partake in as well as the hearts of their once loving fans.
After a survey was conducted by Nielsen and E-Poll Market Research, these ten athletes received the most "dislikes," "dislikes a lot," or "dislikes somewhat" responses from fans, out of all the others who were surveyed.
