Lil Mama Set To Play Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes In TLC Biopic

"Lip Gloss" rapper Lil Mama is making the transition into acting. MC Lyte revealed the news at VIBE's Impact Awards that Lil Mama would be starring as Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes in the upcoming TLC biopic on VH1.
"I don't know if I'm suppose to say, but I will. She just got the role of Left Eye in TLC's new movie," MC Lyte told HipHollywood. "I'm gonna put a little bit of concentration and focus on helping to uplift a sister, who is talented, smart, witty, and just had her chances cut too short and that's Lil Mama, cause she is a talented young lady. So I want to see her do some beautiful things."
According to several reports, T-Boz and Chilli formerly of TLC will both serve as executive producers for the movie, which is in pre-production.
