Facebook Refuses To Take Down Racist, Hateful Picture

Facebook has curiously refused to remove a picture from their site, which features a monkey being likened to a black child. The image was posted by a Facebook page called "Laughing so hard you feel a six pack coming on," and spread across many angry Facebook users.
Facebook sent a message to the person who reported it saying, "Thank you for your report. We carefully reviewed the photo you reported, but found it doesn't violate our community standard on hate speech so we didn't remove it."

What's the problem? All I see is a lil white girl with a monkey. Unless Black people agree that they're monkeys I don't see the big deal... Blacks need to stop worrying about stupid shit like movies using the "N-Word" And pictures of monkeys, And worry about the drugs & gangs killing black youth in the black communities, dead beat fathers walking out on their kids, Unemployment and under uneducated black kids listening to Chief Keef, Rick Ross and all them other dumb ass south rappers that they listen too. Those are the real problems.

@jwood.... I think you meant black kid. but, I would still see a kid next to a pack of crackers. And just to let you know, calling a white person a Cracker isn't really a diss. Cracker is what the slaves use to call the person who beat their asses with the whip because of the sound that the whip made when it hits them (Crack!!!) So Cracker is kinda like a word of power. Not a degrading word.

OK well I don't know if you can comprehend what the statement is saying but it's not about whether black people agree that they look like monkeys or not it's clearly what the picture is implying. Plus I think it's very nice how you want to refer to racism as stupid shit that shouldn't be taken seriously. Whereas I agree that drugs and gangs are killng the black youth, believe it or not so is racism in that it can make some feel like they really are less then human, which is exactly what this picture is portraying buy replacing a black child with a monkey. Come on now, really how stupid and disrespectful is that? And finally these dumb ass south rappers you want to talk about occasionally do talk about the real problems that occur in black communities seeing as how some of them have first hand experience of it. So yea their music can be a little too much sometimes and full of fucking nonsense but they do relay a message that the black kids in these black communities can relate to.
