Beyonce is getting flack from animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals over her costume choice at Super Bowl XLVII.
PETA didn't approve of her leather and lace outfit which was made from iguana and python skin, and released a statement to E! News expressing their displeasure.
"We would take a bet that if Beyoncé watched our video exposés...she'd probably not want to be seen again in anything made of snakes, lizards, rabbits, or other animals who died painfully....Today's fashions are trending toward humane vegan options, and Beyoncé's Super Bowl outfit missed the mark on that score."
Beyonce's camp has yet to respond, and it's uncertain if they ever will. The singer has never shied from wearing couture comprised of animal hides -- she donned a floor-length Christian Dior mink coat for the Presidential Inauguration.
