The BET Awards is becoming one of the premier musical events of the year, as the network will be hosting an entire weekend of performances from some of the hottest artists around.
The three-day event, dubbed the "BET Experience at L.A. Live", will include performances from Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, R. Kelly, The Jacksons, and more.
Bey gets the party going when "The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour" comes to the Staples Center on Friday, June 28. Later that night, Erykah Badu will perform across the street at Club Nokia.
Saturday will see Snoop Lion, Kendrick Lamar, Miguel, Schoolboy Q perform at the Staples, while The Roots will jam late-night at Club Nokia.
Sunday will be all about R&B, with R. Kelly, New Edition, and The Jacksons doing their thing at the Staples. Gospel star Kirk Franklin will also be holding Sunday service earlier in the day at Club Nokia.
The festivities get underway with the BET Awards on July 1 at the Nokia Theater.
Tickets for individual shows go on sale February 11, and whole-weekend packages will also be available starting at $1,000.
