Joe Jackson Thinks Parents Are Too Soft On Punishing Their Kids

Michael Jackson was always vocal about his dysfunctional relationship with his father Joe Jackson, primarily because of physical abuse Michael claimed he suffered at Joe's hands. Joe Jackson has also been very vocal about his parenting techniques, and has even said Michael's success was because of his tough love.

Joe Jackson made an appearance on CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight recently, telling Piers that parents are "too soft" today when disciplining their kids.

"Yeah, they are too soft. One of the reasons I say that is because kids nowadays are killing their parents in some cases," said Jackson. "Let's get into this 'beating' thing. There's no such thing as 'beating a kid.' You whip them or punish them over something they did, and they will remember that. And they'll remember it in such a way that they won't do it again. That's the way I was."

I admit parents are too soft of their kids today or just don't pay mind at all BUT I'll take boxing lessons from Miley Sirus before taking parenting lessons from this fuck boy, all ya kids have conplexes and addictions yeah they made money but as people they are horrible

senor jackson is kinda right. when I use to misbehave, my mother Guadalupe, use to bang my head with a hot sauce pot, whip my ass with vines from the bark tree, put hard rice on the floor and make me kneel down on them for hours, looking at a statue of jesus. use to fill the bath tub with cold water and stuff my head under. Use to throw the chancletas(slippers) on me.
