Like the other dude said, hip hop used to be a genre respected by all ages cause there was substance and quality and thoughtful messages. Any Black school board with a little common sense would look at hip hop today and would make sure this newly devil driven culture stays FAR away from black schools.

Because white schools don't study country music? Who says cause you black you gotta like rap let alone if you are not a music major why study it its a waste of time that would be a fly by corse for some lazy fuck who needed to up his GPA

I took a music appreciation course at my college and the text book did touch on hip hop music a little so it's coming eventually.

Historically Black colleges were originally Trade schools. Just look at what the initials stand for, they are not liberal art learning facilities so they culture isn't built in to study music.
