Fabolous Says "New York Music is not Dictating a Sound Anymore"

Fabolous recently chopped it up with XXL Magazine about the current evolving state of hip-hop. He claimed that New York hip-hop specifically has forever changed and will probably never go back to the old school 90s/early 2000s "gangsta rap" music that it once was.
"It's a different generation and even though it's on an upswing, it's on the upswing of this generation. I don't think it's ever going to be the 90s/2000 New York, and people might have to rationalize with that and accept it. It's only going to be the New York of now. It's still a staple for music, it's just that the music coming out of here hasn't been the strongest because New York music is not dictating a sound anymore. I don't mean to say that our music is wack, it's just not the number one sound right now. Right now, 'Ratchet' music is mainstream. New York's music used to be street, gangsta music. That was our ratchet music."

Fabolous is the same nigga who raps on southern beats. If he stuck to beats like "Breathe" to what Just Blaze was giving him he wouldn't be complaining now. Fab is part of that reason NY doesn't "dictate" the sound because he been for a few yrs now been dicksuckin' out of town niggas sound. STFU you lame. You part of the problem you complain about.

Its over NY im sorry.....For some reason NY niggas always got to put a label on music thats not from NY...I never heard of this Ratchet style shit untill a new york nigga said it out of his fucking mouth...SMFH...To me its just music from a diffrent region...Stop putting labels on shit...If u want to put a label on something put a label on them clown ass niggas from NY that be wearing T shirt skirts and shit

First off there maybe 3 New York rappers that actually still have major label deals and they albums keep getting push back like terry Bradshaw hairline except nicki cuz she never used New York style beats anyway and the New York rappers that have no outlet but mix tapes still can't get a buzz when they rhyme over dirty south beats, hip hop move region to region, the south got it right now, New York is a wrap right now and I'm from NYC, but ASAP rocky is having so much success cuz he's doing his own originality, own lane, that's why he stands out until other NYC rappers do that, it's over.

You want to know why? Because the Devil (baphomet,Bezellbub, Leviatian) is the father of music and he dictates what people hear.He hated hip hop because there was a message to the people. THis new sound is only one category: SATANIC MUSIC for conjuring spirits and violence. All that 5% shyt is out the window, there is no GOD bodies anymore, no man is even close to being like Jesus or GOD or ALLAH...it's only one GOD, and he is the Lord of Lord's,GOD the father.Music will never come back to where it was because it has been corrupted by the white race, so it is defiled and impure. Blame it on Snoop for selling the secrets to our language, by coming on MTV and saying "Whts up my nizzle", that turned the entire game out. Look at it.Snoop Lying is the blame.
