If you have ever been to a live Beyonce show you would know that she is one of the only mainstream artist how doesn't lip sync.

Sometimes I feel we as African Americans deserve to have the perception that we have in the US and around the world. We are the most self-hating, "crab in the barrel" culture known to man. The fact that grown men and women possess an illogical and trivial animosity and hatred towards not only Beyonce but seemingly anyone that is African American and successful is a testament to that. Slave owners of the past and Jim Crowe sure did do a number on us; so much so we are now creating ways to bring each other down (Illuminati, fake pregnancy's, gay rumors and any kind of slanderous thing we can think of) and for what? Can anyone of you who "hate" Beyonce or any other celebrity state what they have done to directly bring harm to you or your family? I would venture to say no. Yet, we as African Americans have wished death upon her, her family, her child, criticize her and her family about how they spend the money that they have earned and cry about how much they give some back to us. African Americans have become a weak people. A a jealous people. A lazy people. An uninspired people. And until we make a concerted effort as a people to change our ways as a culture we deserve the negative stereotypes we are so easily offended by, the negative connotations that others apply to us as well as our current standing in society, because to be frank, they are all primarily true.
