Offensive Slurs Found Written On Freedom Tower's Bathroom Walls

Seeing the World Trade Center rebuilt in Lower Manhattan has been a source of pride for New Yorkers and everyone affected by the tragic events of September 11th. It is a symbol of resiliency and determination. Despite this being a place generally looked at with great respect, new pictures released of the bathrooms inside the Freedom Tower tell a different story.
"Whites only," reads one of the racist slurs written on the wall.
The slurs were offensive to just about everybody and covered quite a few ethnicities. It's a shame that in a place almost held in holiness, people can be so disrespectful. Most of the slurs are too jarring to write, but you can check out pictures of the Freedom Tower's bathroom walls above.
