i swear these "HERE TODAY GONE LATER TODAY" as rappers nowadays are so disrespectful...nigga u and hendrix are to totally different species when it come to this music shit..its like a ant or some other insect comparing itself to a lion..

@yournohendrix, I agree with you 150%. I'm so tired of these rappers (not all) who put themselves in the same class of true Pioneers of music. Jimi is in no shape or form heard in this mans music. But not to get this post out of context, he stated that he was his inspiration, not someone he compares himself to. Lastly to the idiot @KBO who stated Jimi was for the white people...you should be slapped. You must be a little boy who don't know their history and if you think you do someone taught you wrong. Jimi Hendrix is a Legion, cut from the cloth of Rock and Roll musicians who created the art. Rock and Roll was a genre created by blacks in the 1950's with more of an Rythm and Blues and Country influence and stage performance. At a time when Blacks couldn't perform in the lime-light as much as whites could unless they had a white band with them. Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash took the genre to new heights. Just how Hip Hop was born in the Bronx amongst the black community it has grown to be a culture among all race...so save your ignorant comments...Rock and Roll is in our blood lil youngin'. Pick up a John Lee Hooker and BB King album sometime and learn yourself somethin' youngin'...
