The LAPD is looking into Chris Brown and Frank Ocean's fight as a battery, but it could be treated as an assault with a deadly weapon," according Officer Lyle Knight, who spoke exclusively to BOSSIP. Lyle added that "In the process of the investigation they'll decide whether it's a hate crime."
In light of Chris Brown's past criminal record and use of gay slurs on Twitter and elsewhere, many believe that this could spell serious trouble for the R&B singer.
