Kid From Kid-N-Play Slams Obama's Nephew Over Haircut

Chris Reid, better known as 'Kid' from popular early '90s rap duo Kid-N-Play, recently told TMZ what he thinks about President Obama's nephew's hightop fade. He didn't hold back when saying that Avery Robinson's hairstyle needs to go.
"I think that flat-tops should not come back. It's an old style that now looks stupid to me."
Kid added that he doesn't want to "blatantly bash anyone," but said Avery needs "to get out of the time warp."
Despite Kid's sentiments, the flat-top is making a bit of a comeback, with NBA ballers Iman Shumpert and Brandon Jennings repping the style.

Everything comes back in style, niggaz was wearing name belts a few years back, people started wearing shell toe addidas again. When cross color jeans or karl kani comes back, im all in!

But not one comment about these white kids wearing their hair the same way, but with a jar of hair gel to make it stand up??? Every time blacks come out with a certain style or trend, we are the first to talk shit about it, but accept everything that other races do!!! I thought his hair cut was tight, especially with the half moon part. "Kid" need to shut the fuck up because I don't know what the fuck his hair looks like these days!!! I saw that cat on TV, and it look like he had a Jeri curl.

Wack or not he should be flattered. He rocked a flat top for years well after people stopped rocking them. Ppl wear retro everything. Nothing wrong with a retro haircut.
