West Coast rapper Lil B was a part of a list of hopefuls set to perform at the 2013 Grammy Awards as a part of a contest called "Gig of a Lifetime," but it appears he may be banned from doing so. Some noise was made over Lil B's inclusion in the competition, and his name was removed from the contest this week.
Lil B took to Facebook to take his loyal fans for their votes, saying "Thanks to every task force officer or b**tch mob task force or police who protect Lil B music and patrol basedworld daily to make sure there is no hate and protect Lil B music thank you."
Maybe someone thought the world wasn't ready to be #Based quite yet?

Instead of hating on him why dont you look further into what he talks about? Of course "Hoes on my dick" isn't serious. Who says someone has to follow some undefined method of making music? YOu all should be thanking Lil B for exposing these Undercover Rappers. All them niggus was afraid of that man. You let Kanye's flaky azz perform, when he used to cry like a bytch when he didnt win awards or nominations, or not even show up. I dont support Lil B music, but at least the nigga came all out with his bizness,instead of fooling the mass public.

It's just that people don't understand how talented he really is. He has an air of... avant garde about his work. He is seriously one of the very few truly talented artists in today's world of rap and hip hop.

I am not particularly a connoisseur of modern day rap. I prefer the simpler styles of the classics (Busta Rhymes, Run DMC, Wu-Tang, and even the Beastie Boys). I believe that Lil B sort of echoes what once was, and I admire that and his ballsy attempts at being out of the norms of today's rap standards.
