Lupe Fiasco Thrown Off Stage For Anti-Obama Statements

Lupe Fiasco hasn't kept his thoughts about President Obama quiet, previously calling Obama the "biggest terrorist," so it was surprising that he was invited to sing at an inauguration concert. Lupe performed at Hamilton Live in Washington D.C. to a large crowd supporting Obama's reelection, but was pulled off stage when he performed an anti-war song, "Words I Never Said."

While on stage Lupe shocked the crowd by performing the song, where he says that he didn't vote for Obama, and carried out he tune for over 30 minutes. A security guard then approached the stage and asked Lupe to exit, which he did while waving to the crowd, who were yelling his name.

HyperVocal, which co-founded the event, responded to the incident, saying "This was not about his opinions. Instead, after a bizarrely repetitive, jarring performance that left the crowd vocally dissatisfied, organizers decided to move on to the next act."

@murphdog the point is our mayor Bloomberg is not the president . Obama is his sidekic is now chicagoa mayor so you would thinc Obama would do more for the Chi. But that's politics all bs. Aint nothin he can do about homicides its been goin on since Chicago was founded he has a whole lot of other issues like unemployment the debt.ceiling getting the troops home but they are gonna have new federal gun laws he does want to keep the kids safe

The truth is...we all don't fuckin know what's really going on. That's why were all devided, your either for or against obama and the american government. I'm sure there are good politicians , trying to do what's right, but there are also the selfish ones that are bringing this country to its knees. We can look at our world history and see the constant corruption...why be nieve and think its not happening today. but life goes on, ignorance is truely bliss sometimes.

the statement is correct...anyone who votes for a president because of his skin color is a threat to national security. those of you who believe in him are about to get a rude awakening... Colorado, and CT...the candidates were Manchurian. do your research and this way when the shit hits the fan, you will at least know why your dying.

Obama was Senator of Illinoise and is an Chicago fan but he fails to help the city of Chicago which had 512 homicides in 2012. You would think he would at least support or show his face or speak against the violence there.

So the man has to run the whole country, try to take us out of debt, fight terrorists, fight republicans, continue recovery efforts for Storms Sandy and Katrina and stop niggas from killing each other too? Why don't ur mayor or governor speak out against it? NY had high murder rates, crime, drugs, etc and a mayor named Rudy Giuliani helped clean up his town. Where's the Chicago mayor?
