Loveably strange rapper Riff Raff has announced a temporary name change to "Riff Raff LaFlare", in celebration of Gucci Mane calling him an artist instead of a rapper in a recent interview. The upcoming film "Spring Breakers" features a character played by James Franco named "Alien" who was reportedly based off of Riff Raff's likeness and personality, but Gucci, also featured in the movie, suggested that the Houston rapper didn't have as much influence on Franco as he made it seem.

Riff Raff contacted VladTV to clear things up, saying, "Riff Raff and Harmony Korine (the director of "Spring Breakers") are on the cover of a magazine together. My neon vibe and energy is in the movie, no one can hide that not even big celebrities. Me and Harmony are close friends and I spoke with Korine on the phone last night and he said that he wants to do a music video for me and Gucci Mane before the movie comes out, to do a song together on a Diplo beat for my album 'Castles Around My Heart'. Diplo says Gucci Mane is going to be on my 'Deion Sandals' song and we are gunna do a video.

Me and Harmony Korine did a cover of a Sneeze Magazine together...That's about $450,000 in jewelry sitting on top of the poster with James Franco...oops I mean RiFF RaFF & Harmony Korine magazine cover. #SpringBreakers gunna be the best movie...#SoRiceyBoys #RapGameJamesFranco RiFF RaFF LaFlare."

RiFF RaFF has no intentions on keeping the LaFlare at the end of his name, and will lose the new name at the end of this week. Check out the pictures of RiFF RaFF LaFlare and Harmony Korine above.
