The VH1 Save The Music Foundation Songwriters Music Series with Swizz Beatz and Friends hit the Hard Rock Cafe in New York City last night, raising quite a bit of money for good causes.
Swizz brought out Sean Paul, French Montana, Waka Flocka, and Busta Rhymes to draw a big crowd, with the proceeds going to the Save The Music Foundation. A portion of the proceeds also helped to create the Tri-State Sandy Music Relief Fund, which will provide grants to schools affected by Sandy so that they can buy new musical instruments. So far, Save The Music has provided more than $49.5 million in new instruments.
