Man Bites Girlfriend's Thumb Off While Driving To Taco Bell

Ricardo Marquis Davis, 35, allegedly bit off his girlfriend's thumb while driving to Taco Bell. According to Palm Bay, Florida police, the two were arguing while Davis was driving and his girlfriend became upset and pushed his head.
"During the course of the drive down to work they got into a verbal argument, and she basically became upset. She kind of pushed his head, and he responded by biting [her thumb]."
Palm Bay police spokesperson Yvonne Martinez spoke about the incident, saying "The nurse advised [the victim] was treated for a severed left thumb, and that the woman continued to say, 'I can't believe he bit my finger off.'"
Davis admitted to biting off the woman's thumb and was charged with aggravated battery. Doctors were unable to reattach the woman's thumb.
