Frank Ocean Officially Nominated For GLAAD Media Award

Frank Ocean coming out last yea and revealing his bi-sexual orientation has earned him a nomination for Outstanding Music Artist for the 24th annual GLAAD Media Awards. GLAAD stands for Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, and is honoring Frank for his courage to come out during a time and in a musical genre where gay or bi-sexual activity is often heavily frowned upon.

This award is given to artists who "recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect their lives."

Let's see if Frank will win the award.
