Luther Campbell of 2 Live Crew is the latest personality to slam Spike Lee for his criticism of Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained."  Quentin immediately received hatred from Spike due to the fact that he used the n-word loads of times in the film to depict the high level of racism that was present in the South at the time that the film took place.  Spike even posted on his Twitter account and said in an interview that he wouldn't be seeing the film because he can't "disrespect his ancestors."  Campbell thinks Spike needs to shut his mouth and that Quentin's movie is better than all of Spike's past films on the black community.

"Screw Spike Lee.  Quentin Tarantino's 'Django Unchained' is a brilliant flick that more accurately depicts the African-American experience than any of the 15 movies about black culture Lee's directed in his lifetime.  Spike is upset because Samuel L. Jackson's character in the movie is just like him: a conniving and scheming Uncle Tom."

Quentin has since won a Golden Globe award for Best Screenplay for "Django Unchained."  How do you feel about Spike's comments?  Do you think Quentin's movie went overboard, or is Spike being too sensitive about the race issue?

Check out a series of tweets above between Spike and his fans ever since he let it be known that he won't see the film.
