The Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation has linked up with Velocity World Media to produce a new live concert series to pay homage to 2pac's life.

The concert series will celebrate 2pac's influence on art and culture and will be broadcast live in HD to clubs, restaurants and theaters around the country.

Some of the biggest names in music will participate in the performances, which will be part of VElocity World Media's "First Spin" experience. The event series will serve as a launching pad for some of the country's biggest artists, and will be broadcast exclusively to high end venues.

"Tupac was and continues to be hugely influential in the music industry and with youth across the country. He followed his own path and always seemed to be a step ahead of the cultural curve," said Vernal Cambridge, director of the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation.

"We like to honor his style by defying convention in our own way," Cambridge added. "That's why we're offering fans a way to support the foundation's charitable work and celebrate Tupac's memory through an up-close-and-personal experience with some of today's brightest artists."

The program will also serve as a fundraiser for the Stone Mountain, Georgia-based Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation.
