Basketball Legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Has Cancer

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has been hiding a secret.

The former Los Angeles Laker great, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, has revealed that he has a form of cancer known as chronic myeloid leukemia, which is a blood cancer, and he was diagnosed last December.

Jabbar, who has done everything from winning college championships to NBA championships to having been trained by the martial arts legend Bruce Lee says the cancer will not significantly affect his life as long as he follows the proper health regimens.
