Both young and rising rap artists Azealia Banks and Angel Haze have seen a rise in their overall record sales after their heated Twitter beef took place not too long ago.  Last week Azealia's "1991" EP landed a spot on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums chart at No. 32 and gained an 18% sales increase by selling just shy of 1,000 units.  Also her "212" single pushed out another 3,000 units last week bumping up her total sales to 118,000 downloads.

Meanwhile Angel Haze's "New York" EP gained a nice light bump in sales with just under 1,000 copies of her songs being sold.  It looks like beefing is winning for these young ladies.

Azealia's boost in sales is also a product of her short beef with Perez Hilton after she called him a "fa**ot" on Twitter which landed her huge amounts of heat from many of her fans as well as the gay community.  Even GLAAD (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) bashed her for using the word, and Azealia has been trying to defend herself against the slander ever since.

Check out her tweets in an ongoing effort to defend herself from using the word "fa**ot" against Perez Hilton above.
