Solange Knowles reemerged on the R&B scene last fall, dropping the single "Losing You." The song is off her "True" EP, which is set to drop in just a few days.
While blogs everywhere are excited about her new project, Solange wasn't too kind to them in a recent series of tweets.
"Some of these music blogs could actually benefit from hiring people who REALLY understand the culture of R&B to write about R&B," she wrote, frustrated with writers who have never experienced the "real" culture espoused in the music.
She continued, "Like you really should know about deep Brandy album cuts before you are giving a "grade" or a "score" to any R&B artist."
Solange likely spent a lot of time around Destiny's Child, making her a legitimate authority in R&B culture. Look out for her EP to drop January 8.
