Curtis Scoon is an OG in almost every area of hip hop--from the streets to the industry. On Wednesday night, after hearing fake rumors that Martin Lawrence was suing Trinidad James for stealing the character "Jerome," Scoon went on a long rant about what he perceives as a lack of authenticity in today's hip hop.
"Fake forges rankings, fake team ownerships. Fake 200m movie deals. Fake YouTube views. Fake downloads. All to entice fake a** people," tweeted Scoon.

Man if you want something go for it... put on your shades and keep your mind on the prize and eyes to the skies. Our people are always saying some bullshit about our own kind when they become successful or make big business moves. If we weren't so concern with what the next man is doing and become focused on what we want and stay on the path to get it we could be rubbing elbows with them... 50 Cent deal is shady , think about it A list actors who draw crazy box office numbers ain't got those deals.
50 cent's movies be flopping in theatres and his best acting performance is equivalent to an A list actor's worst performance.Don't you think they would get a deal like that before 50?It makes no sense like what is the rich white jew getting in return hmmm?
The deal is definitely suspect.

I agree with everything being fake and fraudulent except the 50 CENT $200 MILLION deal... I'm amazed he put that in the same category. Fif has some of the best well known actors from Robert Dinero, Bruce Willis, Val Kilmer and many others in his films... I think Fif is aligned with Lionsgate or some shit. The movies don't go to the theater... but U would be amazed at how profitable str8 to video movies make... from Licensing, network deals and Netflix, etc... U make tons of money. the guy you mention films doesn't make it to the box office, only on netflix and direct to dvd. Besides , a large amount of money is made in movie ticket sales.
