Sadly, 22-year-old stripper Lauren Block suffered a serious fall while giving a lap dance to a customer around 12:40 a.m. Wednesday morning, January 2nd in Cleveland.  According to what the man who was receiving the dance said, they were on the second floor and he was sitting with his back against a balcony rail when Ms. Block grabbed it and attempted to perform some sort of "jump-dance" move.  Unfortunately for her, the move wasn't executed as planned and she ended up flying over the rail head first and landing on the floor 15 feet below.

The Cleveland Police Department incident report read:

"He stated that she grabbed the rail, as he was facing away from the balcony, and she tried to complete some sort of jump-dance move, and accidentally went head first over the rail."

She apparently suffered "massive head trauma" as a result and was found lying on the first floor of the nightclub when paramedics and police arrived on the scene.  The incident has been ruled an accident and no further investigations are being conducted to find out otherwise.  Ms. Block has been placed in critical condition at the MetroHealth Medical Center.
