The festivities surrounding a holiday such as New Year's Eve can result in an unhappy ending if taken too far. That seemed to be the case for former NBA baller Latrell Sprewell, who was arrested for disorderly conduct on New Year's Day, according to reports.

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported that several calls were made in regards to "repeated complaints about loud music coming from a house on E. Pleasant St. on Milwaukee's east side".

"Police would not release details of the incident other than to report that police had received two complaints within one hour Monday afternoon and had received several complaints of loud music from the residence in recent months. Sprewell, 42 and a graduate of Washington High School, was booked into the jail about 4:15 p.m. Monday's incident has been referred to the Milwaukee County district attorney's office for investigation."

Sprewell, a 13-year veteran of the NBA and who last played for the Minnesota Timberwolves, has always been extremely outspoken and a bit uncontrollable at times during his career, so this incident may not come as a surprise to many. What are your thoughts on Sprewell's actions and arrest?
