Karrine Steffans and Lil Wayne have had an intimate connection for years, yet she was apparently upset over some lyrics that Wayne spit in the song "Kush and Alcohol", in which he addressed some of their private matters. The song was apparently recorded while the pair were going through some sort of rift, and Wayne recorded his verses impulsively.

Steffans recorded a video addressing how the lyrics upset her -- she was so sick over him that she ended up staying in bed for an extended period of time.
