Rap newcomer Chief Keef's run-ins with the law have been well documented throughout 2012, and the start of 2013 is already proving to be no different for the Chicago native. Keef will find himself in a courtroom on January 2nd as prosecutors are looking to place the teenage rap artist behind bars. Chief Keef made a sudden move from his old residence to a more upscale neighborhood without alerting his probation officer and prosecutors feel he needs to be punished for it.

According to reports, Keef moved into the more luxurious neighborhood of Northbrook, a move that has angered his probation officers. Residents of the Northbrook area say his relations to dangerous Chicago street gang, the Black Gangster Disciples, could cause major issues in the rather high end neighborhood.

This latest situation only adds to Chief Keef's ongoing problems. He's currently on probation for pointing a gun at a cop and has to make a court appearance later this month for a separate issue.
