Jay-Z & Coldplay Ring In New Year With Barclays Center Concert

Brooklyn Nets part owner Jay-Z, along with popular British rock band Coldplay, brought in the new year with an unforgettable concert at the Barclays Center. Coldplay served as the opening act for the performance and Jay took over from there. Minutes before the clock struck midnight, Hov was on-stage leading the raucous crowd into 2013.
There were a few notable figures in the building as well. The likes of Christina Aguilera, One Direction's Harry Styles, and Gwyneth Paltrow were in attendance, and Paltrow even found herself on stage at one point during the night. As the Brooklyn rap mogul continued to bring in the new year, he briefly admitted that 2012 was a heck of a year.
"I don't know how I'ma top 2012. It was the year of Blue."
