Tarantino Plans Movie About Black WWII Soldiers Rebelling

Quentin Tarantino isn't wasting any time to soak in the positive and negative reviews of "Django Unchained," and already has another movie lined up. In an interview with "The Root," Tarantino revealed that his next film will be called "Killer Crow" and will loosely connect "Inglorious Basterds" to "Django Unchained."

The plot would be based around a World War II, all-black regiment in the American military, who rise up against their white commanders. According to Tarantino, the black regiment, who feel oppressed by the white leadership, will go on a warpath killing white soldier and officers. The idea actually came from a part of "Inglorious Basterds" which had to be cut out due to time constraints. Tarantino then realized the idea could stand on its own.

"My original idea for 'Inglorious Basterds' way back when was that this would be a huge story that included the smaller story that you saw in the film, but also followed a bunch of black troops, and they had been f***ed over by the American military and kind of goes apesh*t," said Tarantino. "They basically--the way Lt. Aldo Raines (Brad Pitt) and the Basterds are having an 'Apache resistance'--the black troops go on an Apache warpath and kill a bunch of white soldiers and white officers on a military base and are just making a warpath to Switzerland."

Considering the criticism Tarantino has received for his fascination with black culture, it's brave and surprising of him to continue with the trend.
