So now if someone wants to destroy a specific Rappers career they just have to flood their youtube channel with fake views. I hope some computer nerd out there floods Lil Wayne's youtube channel with a billion "FAKE" views so it gets taken down.

Its very simple: Google/Youtube is a monopoly. They charge exorbitant amounts of $ for dvertisement on their platforms, yet spend "zero" dollars on content and production. Its simple and brilliant! Users post thousands of videos on their platform daily! Well, the major labels and indies figured they'd pay third parties to promote/advertise their videos, get fake views, manipulate,...whatever, right? Well YOUTUBE/GOOGLE will NOT have that, because then they would be in fact, creating their own competition. NO THIRD PARTIES...and that includes postings on Facebook, Twitter, blogs, etc... So as long as you pay GOOGLE/YOUTUBE to be placed on their front page and they get to keep all the mula, then more likely, your "promoted video" will be safe. What ever happened to ANTITRUST LAWS?????

That is wrong. Google runs AdSense which pays for things like views and ad clicks. YouTubers realized this and began manipulating view counts and doing other things to raise views to directly help their own pockets. And Google/YouTube are NOT monopolies- there are other video upload and web search sites, they just pale in comparrison.

Definitely agree...Google is on they job...I respect that. Most artists posting videos on Youtube can pay for views. I know independent artist that say they pay for an extra 13000 views per month. This is a common practice among musicians, labels, and even amateur filmmakers. The majority of all Youtube views are boosted...hence garbage ass products.
