Rapper Capital STEEZ Dead At Age 19, Joey Bada$$ Confirms

Rapper Joey Bada$$ and his Pro Era team are coming off of the recent release of their latest mixtape "Peep the Apocalypse". But today, on Christmas Eve, the squad is mourning the loss of one of their own, group member Capital STEEZ.

STEEZ was a 19-year-old rapper from Brooklyn and the exact cause of his death is currently unknown. But much attention has been centered around his last tweet which simply reads "The end", leaving many to ponder whether or not he took his own life.

With a heavy heart, Joey Bada$$ also confirmed the news on his Twitter account this Christmas Eve morning.

"This unfortunate xmas eve.. Lost a best friend, a brother, a pro, a partner. Letting go is never easy.. May ur soul rest in peace Jamal.."

The New York Police Department could not release any information surrounding this matter at press time. We'll keep you updated on more from this tragic incident.
