Older Brother Of School Shooter Says He's a Victim Too

The recent shooting tragedy in Newtown, CT has been understandably tough on the entire town, especially those directly affected. The shooter, Adam Lanza, has received plenty of negative media attention for obvious reasons, but some of it has spilled out into the life of his older brother, Ryan Lanza.
In a message directed at the NY Post through Facebook, Ryan wrote, I am a victim...I lost my mom and brother."
Ryan posted pictures memorializing both his mother and his brother, with captions written underneath. Under his mother's, he wrote, "I miss you mom. I love you so much. You will always be in my heart."
Under his brother's picture was written, "I will miss you bro. I will always love you as long as I live."
The post was reportedly in response to people who have been wishing his brother would "rot in hell." The older Lanza said, "I am so tired of people blaming me for something my brother did. I love Adam...But you have no right to call my brother names when he isn't here no more. Just let my brother rest in peace."
