Brooklyn legend Talib Kweli dropped by Sway In The Morning recently and kicked it with the loved radio DJ. Kweli discussed his opinion on Big Sean and Drake, and even kicked a freestyle for the lucky listeners.

I appreciate that Talib Kweli shows repect for some of the mainstream MCs that have different points of view on the mic. He is one of the dopest MCs to ever do it.

Hip Hop is a culture, but also apart of the corporate music business structure. I truly believe that Raw Hip Hop Lyricist like Talib Kweli want to speak his mind and to be honest l; I'm he sure would. In this day and time though where every word, move and result of your actions & their consequences are monitored by this social media/entertainment world. You have to be watchful of how you tread the waters of this industry. Talib knows its artists that suck and don't have no business being in a industry of superior rhymers, but he's not for starting drama (which is ignorant), getting into beef (which won't be beneficial to his career) and knows drake has a marketing powerhouse behind him that has money to defend his image & career against anyone looking to come and touch him. Talib Kweli is one of the few of a dying breed of musical artist, but he also understands the politics of the round table from which he eats and that's basically behind the scenes bullshit politics of the music industry! You can't play checkers in a mans game of chess! Step up ya' intellect, dont dumb down yourself! God Bless 🙏
