On Friday afternoon, rap superstar Nicki Minaj decided to do some shopping at the Gucci store in Beverly Hills before Christmas. She went with an all-black-everything outfit and was accompanied by her hypeman Scaff Beezy.
The Young Money artist may have also put her differences with Hot 97 behind her as she's set to perform at a Christmas concert hosted by the New York station. The concert will go down at Webster Hall on Christmas Day.
Peter Rosenberg of Hot 97, who was critical of Nicki's "Starships" track at Hot 97's Summer Jam earlier this year, says the beef between himself and Minaj is over and hopes the two can look back on this issue and have a laugh about it.
"I had nothing to do with this concert personally and I doubt that she would want it to have much to do with me personally, but it is definitely a dead issue on my end," Rosenberg said. "Not even to be polite or political — I sincerely like Nicki's rapping a lot. She has only had a few songs that I disliked and one of them ['Starships'] happened to be the one that caused all of this. The station still supports her and always will... I really hope we get to talk one day and have a laugh about the whole thing. It is not that serious in the grand scheme of things. We both just love hip-hop in our own ways."
