Young Money's Lil Wayne will be kicking the new year off in great fashion as he's set to host and perform at GQ's annual Super Bowl party. The party is being sponsored by Mercedes-Benz and Lacoste and will go down on February 2nd at Elm's Mansion in New Orleans, where Super Bowl XLVII (47) will be played. Lil Wayne, who is a New Orleans native, assures that this event will be nothing short of spectacular.
"As a lifelong sports fan and a proud New Orleans native, I am thrilled to partner with GQ, a publication that has long supported me, for this year's party," Lil Wayne said. "I ain't got no worries that this will be the best Super Bowl party ever."
Aside from his upcoming GQ Super Bowl party, Lil Wayne will also embark on a 15-date European tour beginning in March, during which he will travel through Ireland, Denmark, Norway, and other destinations. The likes of Mac Miller and 2 Chainz will accompany Wayne on his tour as well.
